Really awesome tut over at Digital Arts Online. This one is complex and time consuming but full of great information and techniques, definitely worth the time to walk through, even if you get around to it in stages. Sometimes I work on several tuts at a time, especially when I’m trying to master a new technique for fun or school. Another great thing about doing tuts is that they constantly expand your visual and technical vocabulary, which is something that you’ve got to constantly stay on top of as an artist. I really have to hand it to the folks that sit down and put these things together, besides just taking the time to teach, they are often times sharing tricks that are part of what separate them from the pack.
